AdSense Selling You Away

Author: Lance Winslow

Did you add AdSense to make money and now notice all it does is send people to your competitors? Great news, you can fix that problem and you are not alone. Have you notices that your side bar is full of words that the bot is reading, which have to do with your website rather than the content on that particular page? Well perhaps you have designed your page incorrectly and it is your fault. Redesign your pages or get rid of the culprit.

Also many do not realize this but the longer articles or content on your page are the better, so you may wish to put two similar pages of content on each page on your site where AdSense is posting ads. Or makes sure the content is key word rich to help the AdSense bot find the appropriate key words to display. This is especially important for all you Self-proclaimed SEO writers developing your own content rather than buying it. This will prevent the Google bot from skipping over the content and reading only the incorrectly encoded information on your sites theme. If you have too much content and links to off subject things you might find the AdSense bot end up over riding your side by subjects making Google think it is the subject matter? Who loses when you do not pay attention? Everyone and it is your fault, not AdSense.

Therefore at the bottom of the page you should link titles to content on your own site which the Google bot will also read. What ever you have now, well triple up, to show more subject words? Your content on the pages should have at least articles or information of 350 or 400 words. If not double up on the content, two articles on the page. I have discovered that larger articles of two articles on a page do better in the search engines as well.

Why, because of rankings and google bots. More people clicking on lager content pages or more articles, less on the smaller ones meaning; put more time on the page. Additionally this gives the reader more time to click a side bar ad. Side bar ads should be widened, but not more than a third of the page, 20% is good. Remember you need to get Google bot to read the page for what it is, then you will make more money, if you do not you will forever be looking for new revenue venues without fixing the current issues on your website revenues. If Google is going to choose, then for gods sake help them choose right for your personal financial future and the future of your websites. Think on this.
