Sales Training for Car Wash Fundraisers

Author: Lance Winslow

Before you do your next carwash fundraiser for a kids group it makes sense to teach each kid how to sell. The sales training can be simple by simply setting them down and teaching them how to sell carwash fundraiser tickets so that your advanced sales of tickets will guarantee that your carwash fundraiser is successful even if there is a very low turnout.

After all you need the car wash fundraiser to raise funds for your nonprofit group and you need the money for important things. The better the kids do at sales, the more money you will make the less stress on the budget it will be for the parents and the coaches.

Sales training for carwash fundraisers for the kids does not only include the selling of tickets it also includes the selling the day of the event. Simply sitting outside with the giant poster board sign and waving it at cars is not selling. There is a right way and a wrong way to do this and if you will teach them the right way to then you will get in more traffic into the carwash fundraiser.

Often carwash fundraisers will send students down to the local mall and tell people to drive around a corner to the carwash fundraiser and if it is slow at the carwash fundraiser that is not such a bad idea however, you must teach them to be polite and to listen to customers and explain what a great carwash they will get. Please consider all this in 2006.
